Everything's all upside-down and whatnot. Its blend of side-scrolling overworld areas and overhead dungeons is as gratifying as ever and on top of that, you'll gradually gain access to a whole new arsenal of abilities and weapons that make traversal, solving puzzles, and dealing with enemies involving feats that never become tiresome, especially considering how intricate its world is. Anyway, although it's the end, it continues the trend of the previous 2 games in a fantastic way. So, where does Blaster Master Zero 3 fit in to all of this? Well, sadly, it's the end of the Jason trilogy but that makes me wonder: will there be a spin-off starring Eve? Knowing Inti Creates as well as I do I think that's very possible. I still love being challenged when I play games so this aspect is greatly appreciated and I'm sure it is for many other old-school gamers, too. Additionally, their old-school approach to providing a substantial and rewarding sense of challenge makes these games stand out in the deluge of video games that seem to be getting easier and easier. It really is amazing what the developers have accomplished with these games. Plus, that sequel introduced a wonderful cast of imaginative and endearing characters. The first game was a fantastic modernization of the NES classic while the second expanded upon its formula by having you traverse areas in outer space.
